 Pantai Ide, Sabtu, 26 Oktober kemaren merikah. Kejuaran Renang "kelompok Umumr" yang sempat tertunda beberapa bulan itu, akhirnya terlaksana Sudah lama tidak terdengar prestasi perenang-perenang Sorowako, baik ditingkat kabupaten apalagi propinsi. Berlatar belakang itulah, maka YPS menghidupkan kejuaran renang kelompok umur tingkat SD sampai SMA. Kejuaran renang yang dibuka oleh Bupati Luwu Tumur, Andi Hatta Marakarma ini, diikuti perenang dari sekolah-sekolah di Kecamatan Nuha. Dalam sambutannya Bupati Luwu Timur berharap, akan muncul perenang-perenang handal dari hasil kejuaraan renang ini. 100 m Gaya Bebas Putra : 1. Ridwan - YPS Singkole 2. Asdar - SMPN Sumasang 3.
